So far, this is definitely on par with Sound Awake.

Found out there's a Stand Atlantic feature in one Birds of Tokyo song. Huh. Hearing Ian and Bonnie in one track wasn't on my bingo card but I gotta say, Superglue is gorgeous.
I fell off the hype train for this months ago. The album owns, the Vool returns, I might even go see them live, but I'm too restless to be able to enjoy this to the fullest.

That BOT song is awesome and way better than anything on BOT’s previous album. So catchy, should have been a hit.

some of their recent singles have been pretty fun, Smith Street is catchy as hell. in general though they kinda lost the sauce after March Fires

Salva is a killer song. Probably the best one on here

It’s funny how giving albums time to breathe works.
Asymmetry did absolutely nothing for me when it first came out and now that I’ve revisited it after the new one I’m borderline obsessed. The new one still needs time to grow, maybe I’ll come back to it in 13 years.

Yeah I'm actually quite unfamiliar with Asymmetry as I only listened to it once and didnt like it. I'll have to give it another shot too

Definitely give it another shot. You have to be prepared for it to be different though. It’s almost anti-melodic at times, which is a real departure from Sound Awake. I remember being really disappointed when it came out but over the years it’s grown on me massively. A re-mixed version by Forrester is my dream.
