It's just a less interesting/less compelling version of their first two albums. They didn't change enough in the right direction to differentiate this in a good way and it's way less riffy and less memorable.
Still has some great moments but most of the songs are actually TOO short and are over before they have a chance to leave an impression, or go anywhere.
The closer/title track of Jord is the best thing they ever did, nothing here comes anywhere close to that track (or the album overall).
