All most to much Death Metal homage on Tracks 2-5, but still good. Tracks 6-10 kick ass...so hence my 4 rating!

Not that tags matter as long as we like the album, but this is groove metal that passes as (melodic) death metal, because legacy acts such as In Flames and Dark Tranquility fled to groove metal in later albums, so as to escape the dead end melodic death metal in their first few full-length releases.



Imho, this album is closer to the work of outfits such as Grip Inc. than anything else.

This album is the antithesis of everything that made coroner worth listening to. It’s slow plodding boring and lacking any sort of technicality or ingenuity. Frankly I’m disgusted in Switzerland as a country for allowing this garbage to be released.
