Between this and the Taylor Swift thread I'm getting more than my fill of weird for the month

Hahah I'm not touching that thread. It's been pretty chill in here though, I think.

A World Unmade is growing on me so now i'm mad that it fades out. still feels like more could've been done here but i do really like how the chorus is sung.

A world unmade was an instant highlight for me. I wish it went on longer but I've made peace with the fade out.

Davey Havok uses he/him pronouns
I also never referred to Laura Jane Grace as anything besides her (she uses she/her) name
Don't act like I ain't on my good shit I ain't say nothing contentious. Mb just a lil dumb

comment is gone. wasn't referring to davey, you definitely said he for Laura
|
| |
Nope, definitely not. I said when Laura Jane Grace came out there was a big discourse that he was next. As in davey. 😴 U sleeping boy

I actually really like the fade out on A World Unmade. It fits the theme of the song and along with the vocal effects it actually feels like the song is unraveling or being "unmade".

Haven't listened to AFI since Decemberunderground...so when did Davey Havoc start sounding like Robert Smith and David Bowie?

"I'm really not sure where to place this record. It's so different in the atmosphere it brings. Still digesting. Very thankful for another great addition to their discography. Forever love this band."
For me, it's below Burials but above Blood / Bodies. Also above Crash Love for me. Everything before Crash Love is above all of that for me, with the probable exception of Very Proud and Answer That, which I never feel like I can properly place lol

id mind the fadeout less for A World Unmade if it were longer.

Some really great joints on this. Might be my fav since Decemberunderground as someone fairly new to their output

If AFI made a modern 80's album this is it. Very strange and not very good.
