While I want them to explode for their sake I just had a vision of a world where they're viral on tik tok and my goth cousin is getting down to ladies night, and I'm not actually sure I want that
selfishly I like them being a buried treasure
But they deserve more recognition
Also the title track has grown to become my favorite after initially finding it slightly lackluster
The coolest thing about these guys is that almost all of their songs click eventually

Kinda mixed on this. I bounced off of their last album, it felt a little 2edgy4me in a Jared-Leto-joker-"damaged"-forehead-tat kinda way...which is still an issue here to a degree, but I'm loving a lot of the atmosphere here, and it's incredibly hooky for something so gnarly.
Can't say I unreservedly love it, but it's interesting and I keep coming back to it. Will have to give Padded Room another shot.

Yeah I don’t think you should take it so seriously, it’s edgy but I don’t really think these guys take themselves too seriously. They seem like a bunch of goofballs that just happen to make fucked up music.

I think there's a grain of truth to most of the lyrics - everyone experiences some despair and disillusionment especially with the world these days, but they're embellished for dramatic effect and overall they're not taking themselves nearly as seriously as others seem to
Tony even said in a live stream something like "you read these incelish lyrics from extreme metal bands and you have to wonder if they're even hyperbole or if they actually feel this way, and I think in some cases it's the latter'
