@izlez ECF is beautiful indeed, best on the album by a great margin.
The rest of the album is not doing it for me, except some sweet guitar parts.

i think the reason this resonates so deeply is that virtually everyone can identify with his lyrics on this
we're mostly all exhausted, broke and sick of being kicked around by rich people
whereas on their earlier material, if you hadn't explicitly been through what he was writing about, it was harder to understand exactly what he was trying to convey

Got to be honest Scoot, it sounds like you are explicitly going through what he is writing about on this one to help you identify with it. That doesn't mean everyone is.
...That's not to say I don't agree with the message and love his lyrics
