"she should do a collab with the isis boys, that would slap"
Just picturing an Isis comeback with Ethel Cain a la Julie Christmas x CoL made me cum. That would be so sick it just can't happen

I don't see many people mentioning Radio Towers. One of the shorter tracks, but definitely still bangs.

it's actually insane that she is so mainstream given how non-mainstream this album is
hell she's publicly feuding with lana del ray right now...like what

Dust Bowl is like a microcosm of the album. Something as comparatively small as a weird vocal inflection ends up becoming the focal point; surround it with beautiful haze and you have a stunningly hypnotic folk record.

Waco is such a nice, gradual crescendo from moment one to minute ten. Glorious song.

"Dust Bowl" is literally "Stars Will Fall" by Duster
"Tempest" is literally "Lullaby" by Low
it's certainly a slowcore worship record, just wish it had less bleh

Anyway, she really nailed it here and ironed out some flaws of her debut. Not too heavy at all, long but feels shorter, much improved song writing with lots of genres seamlessly mashed together, so good.
