trilo the vocals on the LP are pretty good, but live vocals are slightly worse, highest notes/sections skipped and sometimes a bit out of tune (like when they were live on Audiotree)

too many bands doing this style have obnoxiously grungy crooning or strained vocals for my taste. it’s a small spectrum where it’s tolerable for me. do the style well (this guy) or just go full shoegaze vocals lol

I did not expect to like this as much as I do. First track I was a little like, "eh, idk", first full spin this is REALLY good.
Kinda 90's nostalgic with a modern twist (basically perfect production doesn't hurt).

Had something from the '21 EP pop up on my shuffle yesterday so I decided to give this a spin. Definitely has that "throwback" nu-metal sound mixed with a heavy dose of alt rock. A few riffs recalled Believe-era Disturbed and I love the LP-inspired wicka-wickas. This is what I wanted from Superheaven last year and they disappointed me hard. Funny how fresh this stuff sounds even though its lineage is clear as day.
