Jurtz its ok you don't dig them. It helps if you think you're not going to an free jazz session, cause they will play these songs the same every time. Spiritually I think the approach is to embrace lust as a form of decadence I think...hey they can click with you anytime.

Really they're one of those bands that were made for folks like me. I was into weird/experimental jazz and oddball extreme metal before I ever heard of these guys, so their music fit like an already broken in glove.

There's no way to force joy out of a jam ya can't vibe with but I think as long as you like eccentric murky atonal stuff that's a little tongue in cheek then you'll probably dig this in time. While I think this is assuredly the best starting point if you want something that's perhaps even more abrasive and self serious I'd try jamming Alphaville or maybe Vile Luxury
