Drone needs to be rated by its own drone characteristics and I'm not good at this, though familiar with SUNN O))) and Ulver's "Drone Activity".
Etienne captivated me instantly, also liked Vacillator, Punish and the title track very well.

I'm definitely glad this isn't her proper follow-up to Preacher's Daughter, I think knowing that grants a little more freedom with approaching this project on its merits. It'll definitely shake some folks off. I've seen two instagram stories today of people I know being like "da fuck is this" lol Hell of an experience though, I haven't stopped thinking about it all day.

Ya it’s nice. Had to take a breather and love on my cat halfway but worth working thru, end stretch was particularly touching. Left me sitting in silence for a few mins. Not bad!

My most anticipated album in quite some time and what a fuckin disappointment. I love how everyone asks the same question “how is this an EP when it’s 89 minutes long” while simultaneously knowing the obvious answer: because there’s only an EP worth of content here bloated and stretched beyond an inch of its life.
If it weren’t for Punish and Amber Waves this thing would be unsalvageable
