Huge fan of the band, but this… I don’t even know. You’ve got the crappy tracks with Matty Mullins… and songs from the last two eps? Am I missing anything? Also there is no coherence. I would probably give this a 1.5 if it were anyone else

The song with Matty are good though, especially Walk Alone. I hope we get a version of it with Stephen one day.

His vocals are washed in a bunch of effects that don't seem to serve a purpose. I think some of it is to add a bit of grit to his voice (like on the chorus of Lacerate) almost to not make the transitions between he and MM seem so drastic.

Reminds me I still need to check these guys out. Only heard Never Take Friendships Personal, which was really good.

All of their albums have something great in them. Even Lowborn which is still my least favorite material of theirs.

Album has integrity issues and pacing issues, and strength of song issues.

If your chorus lyrics are "S lowly E nter V ega E ra N ow" and call the song SEVEN and also call the album VEGA but you are on 2 of 12 songs, you might have daddy issues.

That’s next up. I almost started there, but I try to go front to back discog, assuming their first album is solid. Their real 1st it looks like I can go back to, but NTFP sounded like it’d be worth starting with.
