letterman is pretty nice

guess its good i didnt jam the singles because its the only keeper for me. the back half on the whole def tops the opening run though. would go as far as to say i dislike the opening duo

Album sounds pretty homogeneous and on first listen. Certainly not as immediate and diverse as Proper Dose for me so far. Also think I’m just growing out of pop punk

yeah i dont really need another band in this sound besides alkaline trio, so this being tssf's worst regardless is doing them 0 favors

"this sound" = pop punk

altho true that one band took the same gap to further develop their personality, chemistry and songwriting skills while the other made this lmao

good thing its the music itself that matters and they didnt pass off these hookless, lifeless, clunky songs off as material they spent years on

also blood hair and eyeballs is a sick name anyway as its a phrase matts mom would say in the military ward to describe the chaos of the day. not like "i want to disappear" is a good album name

best tssf album tbh

maybe I'm overrating it a little bit but listening to this and rise or die trying by 4ys really helped cleanse the palate after the stinkfest that was the new dangerous summer

someone tell all these weebass 2010s pop punk bands to dial the f down midwest emo shite in their songs, because that's what's ruining them entirely

Just realized this is the same band that made Proper Dose, and now I need to set everything else aside and hear this because that album ruled.

Agree that the lyrics are weaker here than they’ve ever been; just a bit too on-the-nose. They detract from the emotional weight of songs like Keep You Around, imo.

I listened to their best album as a palette cleanser (WYDS btw) and it’s just no comparison. Maybe catchier than ever, but way simpler.
