Oooh.
Everything is romantic starts off well. Oh, nope. Mistaken absolute dross and gets even worse! Fucking hell.
I’ll pull the plug and listen to 365

365 turns out to be the best one here, if a 10yr old child is singing them lyrics though they’re getting a clip round the ear.

Listening to marketed child dross extol the virtues of going on a cocaine binge is worse for the blood pressure

My only complaints are that I wish "I think about it all the time" was more fleshed out and that "So I" and "Girl, so confusing" we're next to each other

Lol this is one of the dumbest takes I've read on this site

John.
You see the company push in a certain direction and if you have a soul you back out.

I kinda like how brief "I might say something stupid" and "I think about it all the time" are. They could definitely be expanded on a bit more, but I also think they get their points across perfectly and their brevity comes across as the intrusive thoughts she paints them as. Doubly so that they are both followed up with headspinning tonal shifts from absolute BANGERS

"You see the company push in a certain direction and if you have a soul you back out."
well yeah that's the exactly the ethos that informed this thing's entire branding and about 10+ pages of combined blowback from the most stunted users on the site
and yeah I Think About It... is ideally realised for stream-of-consciousness haymaker that it is. perfectly succinct, add anything else or try to beef it up into a 'proper song' and it would sound less genuine (and it has a ton of neat hooks as is)

is there anyone out there, anyone at all, who like, doesn't care about the 'branding'?
I'm struggling to conjure up any strong (even mild) opinion either way and have found all the discourse around the cover / the perception of her as an artist / person quite baffling tbh

i thought its inspirations, aesthetic and visual-conceptual impact were all q self-explanatory tbh, kinda thing that makes you give it a lol nice grin the first time and then move on. definitely did not anticipate there being as much a tantrum as there has been
