I don't get the snare criticisms. It sounds perfectly fine. Especially considering how low-tuned everything is, having a snare with a "pinchier" sound is better than a snare that sounds like a kick or tom and just muddies everything. It's pinched but it's not trash can lid level like a Lars snare or something.

Yeah it’s like a punch sfx and I’m about it. Works perfectly with the intensity of the whole thing

i mean i get the idea behind using that kind of snare but the entire rest of their discog worked just fine without it.

with a more raw sounding production job it'd probably work. but these guys are so clean and overly processed sounding these days that it just sounds tacky... like a gag from an old jared dines video or something

Favorite part of the album was the secret track where they all yelled "It's Knocked time!" and Loosed over everything.

Review summed up my thoughts perfectly. Probably their best LP play through wise but did not reach Tear levels for me. Still a really fun listen!

Little short for a full length, but the album rips. I don’t think they’ll ever touch ADSOB but fuckin love new tuneskis regardless

album goes so incredibly hard. Love the short runtime, I'm just hitting repeat.

Personally think this is better than their previous, it’s definitely more creatively dynamic, features actually flow well and don’t detract from the whole. Me likey.

Gonna have to spin 1-2 more times before rating.

this can get to be a bit samey, but it's so damn hard and cohesive that i'm fine with that

Very much scratches the "goes stupid hard" itch but doesn't feel like it'll ever resonate much further than that in the end

Multiple bits on here give me major frisson and that's my body's way of saying this objectively slaps. Fuck. The percussion on The Calm That Keeps You Awake is a straight-up delight
