really good review. this album didn't last as long as the other 2 did for me. it seems they get less and less technical with every release. regardless, rough hands blew me away.

dallas is an absolutely great live singer. And to this guy who said who saw them 5times, and he sang offkey, I think its your lack of musical abilities. About every video of him is Good live.
Also, selling out??? I dont think this is mainstream at all, but I see that some people say Mainstream to everyband which reduces the amount of screaming. f*** them.
Great album,
To a friend is a great song.

Its an ok album, with some high points and low points. Maybe I should listen to it more and see if I enjoy it more.

this album is so terrible. alexisonfire were probably my favourite band until this came out. my brother got it and i listened to the whole thing all the way through. it was probably one of the most disappointing experiences of my life. as much as it is cliche to say it, they really did sell out. dallas green even said they wanted this album to be more radio friendly. and the other singer, wade or whatever, sucks balls. he shouldn't be allowed to sing. and after their first album they really toned down george's vocals, and then toned them down even more for this one. it's just awful.
all the originality they had disappeared on this album. they used to kick some ass, but this album sounds like they take it in the ass.

i find that alexisonfire brought out a new kind of intensity with this album. everything before this was raw, uncontrolled energy...this album emulates a more refined sound. honestly its nice to hear a band like this come out of the studio with some great production value if only as a one time thing. what i hate is how bands will either turn completely towards perfect production or they'll shit on it for their whole career and never give it a shot. sorry to those ppl who hate over-produced music, but i think some bands deserve to be heard at the maximum quality potential...its also disappointing when bands remain forever devoted to supreme quality and discard their original intensity and ruggedness because of it. thats what i mean when i say im glad AOF went high production with this one - i just hope they don't completely sell out to it. and thats really what hangs in the balance now with their fourth album in the making. okay, but as far as this album goes, i disliked it at first. it entertained me on a very basic level and i never enjoyed it to its full potential until summer 08. it just took a while to appreciate songs like "you burn first" and "crisis" but i've come to love them a lot. don't like this album quite as much as watch out, but there are some truly epic moments here AND every AOF album is different, and i like that.

Don't ask me why, but this has to be either tied with or beating Watch Out! for my favorite Alexisonfire album.

I'd just say, brillant mix of vocal in here. Dallas couldn't be better and Goerge scream is being clearer to understand. Riffs are not as hard as they were on the last two records, but still, i think they are more . I'd say I love it the most.

I love this album.I like those clean chorus by Dallas. The riffs aren't the most original but it works for me. One of those albums i just love every single song.
