Idk, metalcore is one of those all over the place genres where stylistically cohesive songs aren't exactly required but I get where you're coming from with that critique, and completely agree about the cleans. And yes, the melodic metalcore riffs are straight up ripped from the 2000s from bands like All That Remains, Killswitch, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, etc. I 100% interpret it as tribute more than theft though.
Not really trying to go to bat for an album that I'd probably rate 2.5 but idk, it's just not pure feces to me. That's really my only point. "(v tired argument)" Gonna shit talk that band til I die, not sorry lol.

The only way I can tell any of these songs apart is by the occasional clean vocals. My younger brother is obsessed with these dudes but I don't get it. They're a good playlist band but that's it.
Also, this dude's screams remind me of a band from somewhere in the 2006-2010 era but I can't place it and it's been driving me nuts for a couple months now.
