I've listened to this album on repeat all day and it's actually gotten better lol so much to dissect and I can't get over how awesome the instrumentation as a whole is. Everyone complements each other so well.

the best solo is on "the forever rot" around 2 min mark, i'd say. Wish they also had a faster tempo song on this, like "Global shift" on sun eater

There's no a whole song that's faster tempo but there's quite a few straight blistering sections.



I normally reserve my 5's for albums that really hit me in the feels, and this doesn't exactly do that, at least not in the way my 5's do.



But if you asked me to tell you what's wrong with or missing from this album that makes it not a 5, I couldn't tell you.

It's really nice from what I've heard so far but 4.3 good? Doubt it

To be honest my first listen on this was a bit underwhelming. Right now I actually think the first single they dropped is by far the best song off this album but gonna give it a few more spins and see if something clicks
