Technically speaking he's one of the best in the world, but LoG's guitarists beat the hell out of him in terms of creativity and unique style. Most people tend to disagree with me though.

Well, I personally like "More Time to Kill"
I mean it's not a totally amazing song, but to me, it's pretty funny.
Talking about his happiness in the death of someone. Hilarious. Metal. SATAN!
Anyways I have one word for this whole CD: FUCKING AMAZING.
Good job Lamb of God!

And perhaps you need to stop and only listen to the guitars during the songs. Unique and pretty amazing.

I'm kinda suprised that not many people like the song "Redneck". "You can tell the same lie a thousand times but it never gets any more true. So close your eyes once more and once more believe in those who believe in you." That right there kicks ass, I don't care what anyone says.
I recomend these tracks:
Walk With Me In Hell
Again We Rise
Redneck
Descending
Blacken the Cursed Sun
Beating on Death's Door

It's been said before but Blythe sounds so much liek Phil Anselmo on this album. I love the first 3 tracks.

Yeah, I like how he did a more diverse style of singing. Especially on the chorus of Again We Rise, the backing vocals sound so awesome.

The half-time "breakdown" in Again We Rise is one of LoG's most brutal things to date. It's sooo heavy! m/

For some reason, I cannot seem to get into Sacrament.
This is just my opinion, but it just seems slightly "washed out" in a way. In my opinion, their best album was "As The Palaces Burn." Now, I'm not saying that Sacrament is a bad release, I just find it to be a slight regression from their previous releases. Their musicianship is still phenominal, however. The guitar work on this album is amazing, as is the drumming. The vocals are something that also turned me off of it, although I can't quite place what I don't like about it.

AOTW had more highlights, like Laid To Rest, Hourglass and Blood of the Scribe.
This album, however, is much more consistent. It still has some highlights like Again We Rise and Blacken The Cursed Sun, which are now some of the band's best songs to date.

I have a weird relationship with this album. I like most of the songs individually, but I dislike it as a whole...This Message Edited On 09.20.06
