i think now my biggest problem is just how colossally destabilizing getting cleanly the 4 absolute worst ghost atlas songs right after the opener are lmao. panorama, lesser gods, gaps, and seeker are all like the embodiment of everything that makes this not work and are lowkey infuriatingly generic. really isnt until blindside that some ground can be gained
and um, thats a whole third of the record that just sucks lmao

keep going back and forth whether or not to be a lil generous to this or not, but i definitely would not have been trying as hard to see some light in it were it not by jesse
i think this has j been such a bitter pill for me because he's just fully lost it as a melody writer, and that's what this album really needed to work. dude needs to stop jamming florida georgia line and sleep token and get some good influences again
