Another AI would be cool from them, but I honestly don't think that's possible.

They are on the wrong side of 50 and play in one of the most restrictive genre. It really is such a miracle that American Idiot works as well as it does and that 21st Century Breakdown isn't more of a mess. Barring a fairly radical genre shift that focuses more on different genres than their trademark brand of pop-punk, I think it would simply be nice to get more Saviors. I don't say that as a dig at Green Day -at least not intentionally so- but I just want to have the right expectations for Green Day in particular.

Now, if MCR came back and didn't attempt another Black Parade, I'd be pretty damn disappointed lol

i definitely like this more than american idiot but a good chunk of that album hasnt held up for me, altho obv jesus of suburbia and letterbomb are still towering career highlight tracks

I wouldn't want them to try to create AI2. It'd be forced and would taint the original.

One, twenty-one guns
Lay down your arms
Give up the fight
One, twenty-one guns
Throw up your arms
Into the sky
You and I

I always find some enjoyment in any Green Day release but the fact that people are celebrating this like it's some massive step above the last two is sending me
