This is dense af on first pass and definitely takes 2-4 listens with casual reference to the tracklist/structure to open up. Best heavy record of the year though

Wildcard check the new Gridlink if you haven't already. I didn't like this as much as I thought I would either, but I found Gridlink much better in comparison.

so as far as these 2 grind records go, this has more variety and dynamics and chiaroscuro has better tone and heaviness. not sure which one i like more
