This is their worst effort to date. Too many sounds competing in the mix on just about every track. Just a muddled mess overall. Villains was disappointing but this is truly the worst production and songwriting on any Queens album. It’s just dull..

The mixing is actually pretty good. It’s has a bit of beef to it.
Also like the little elements in the background that really shine but don’t take away from the core of the songs.

The guitar work on this album doesn’t do it for me. My main gripe is too many elements in the mix at once. the chorus on Obscenery sounds like a train wreck. I’m surprised to see people praising this.
