i mean that shouldnt diminish the hype levels. this is the most impressive return to form ive seen any of these kinds of bands pull off and should be rightfully championed as such. theres an insatiable hunger felt across this whole album that helps it stand tall on its own

a close 2nd for me, but i also get why this hits so extra hard for you since youve witnessed the amity rollercoaster. must feel so fulfilling and amazing to be able to champion a full length again
so excited to see them play some of this stuff live in the fall

i dont even know if i have another core album in my top 10 besides this and heavener. for the most part feel like im hitting the point where im *gasp* starting to phase this stuff out in favor of other sonic textures. really havent been feeling all that much new stuff recently in the genre either
that said it occupies the literal top 2 albums on my list lol
