I'd rather it have been horrible and interesting than totally inoffensive but dreadfully bland.

a whole rock album in the style of 'Turtleneck' would have been preferable and at least different

I'm assuming the average on this will eventually go up.. If the previous album landed at a 3.5 then I can only imagine this will at least reach that, maybe even surpass it.

Curious if you remember what the initial ratings of IAETF were? Can't imagine that one having high ratings when it first dropped. Could be wrong.

offensively bland is a thing (at least in my world).

the “give me some tips” line from Taylor is so bizarre I almost laughed out loud
|

as if she’s talking about advice on how to bake muffins or something

All these songs have blended into each other for me
Ima give it a 3 because I don't think it's bad... just lacking any excitement

Her delivery of a lot of the lyrics on that song is very cheesy - 'did my love aid and abet you?' and 'cause I love the curse on this house' both sound full stilton
Not my least favourite on the album because at least it has a different personality...even if it's a slightly nauseating one. Bit like the clunky 'Eucalyptus' has some distinctiveness.
So yeah, maybe the more outright 'bad' songs are better than the more outright'boring' ones

The Taylor song sucks, Coney Island is even better

"Curious if you remember what the initial ratings of IAETF were?"
considerably higher than this + bolstered by two palpably desperate staff reviews (with high high scores) trying to assure the site that They Still Got It
