Man with this album I can't help but feel like I've heard all of this before. Surprisingly the Lucy Dacus tracks sound the most refreshing to me (I say surprising as I haven't gotten into her stuff as much as the others - I'm a big Pheobe fan and bigger Julien fan). It's a solid record overall but I was hoping for a bit more

never heard lucy but Julien Baker is fucking lightyears better than phoebe bridgers, y'all are off

none of them have matched Punisher. Julien is probably the farthest from it

I first heard of Julien back when she did vocals for a Touche Amore track in 2016, so Sprained Ankle was my first exposure to any of these guys. What I'm getting at, is that if there were any bias that I have it would be in favor of Julien.



Having said that, Phoebe is my favorite by far. I think she has the best voice, best lyrics, maybe not the best songwriter but it's not like were listening to super complex arrangements anyways.

and how do yall feel about Snail Mail? I think she'd fit right in with these three.

Saw her playing in between JPEGMAFIA and Turnstile (what an insane lineup btw) and was hooked right away.
