Lmao I would rather robots take stuff like manufacturing and labor intensive jobs. Give the trash collectors or miners or oil rig workers a break and leave the art to humans.

Wow, they've smashed it with this. I think they've been mostly forgettable since Constellations but this is great with how much they've stepped out of their box.

Tbh I usually just take royalty-free images and photoshop the fuck out of them myself for my art

no prob with that if you're a struggling musician really, but it's disappointing coming from ABR given their history with really cool cover arts.

Need to listen to it more because at least music was pretty good on the first listen

Matt needs to switch up the style a little bit. I feel like I always know what fill he's gonna do and when.

“ it's disappointing coming from ABR given their history with really cool cover arts.”

If they did it to cut costs, it’s still kind of lame, cause they could just hold a contest and fans would submit all sorts of shit. “Design our new album’s art and you’ll also get a free T-Shirt, $50, and an Insta shout out!”

Gotta be something better than this moldy cover

Really liked this a lot. There's such a strong balance between raw emotion and technical ability. Def gonna have to go listen to Constellations now.

Me too. Heavener is great but I feel like this is simultaneously more emotional and technical.

A friend of mine is an illustrator who just lost her job because they're just going to use AI generated artwork moving forward. I was recently laid off a few months ago and they've also been using AI.

It's actually happening and it's kind of wild. Because folks in charge don't care where it comes from as long as it helps bring profit at minimum cost.

Also album rules, kind of wild to be stoked on an ABR record in 2023 but here we are
