Some of this honestly reminds me of Savage Choir which is insane to think about. I hope it's a direction they keep up with as I remember Josh saying there should be more material in the works.

Had to look up Savage Choir, interesting reference but obscure, band has been dead and buried (or still-born, in fact) for 35 years. But they were definitely in the same vein as late 80s Toxik, Realm & Watchtower, not least because of the over the top vox. Listening to Winter of Probator now, I'm liking the odd chord harmonies they used and which, in fact, remind me of Believer.
