new one is a big step down from this. first track is a hard skip (the reprisal in undertow is so much better) and the rest are okay i guess. really lacking the same hypnoticism from here. kinda boring tbh generous 3 for now hoping it grows

perfectly delivers its singular vision, definitely aided by the fact it’s effectively one continuous idea / song. This band have touched upon an often neglected idea within BM, for me this microtonal / totalism / drone influence is a logical pathway that should be explored further. It delivers emotionally too. There’s proper weight to this.
Idk I’ve waxed lyrical about this for long enough. 2.5 years later and it hasn’t relented. I actually heard this the best part of 24 hours ago, I was just awestruck into paralysis
