i reallly didnt like all candy the first time i listened to this but this current jam i didnt mind it too much, altho my least fav here for sure. not sure if this is gonna be my home for it yet but even just swapping it with the song after it flows smoother

I think it's fine on the tracklist because the themes lyrically are still very similar. It feels like Brent is finally gonna chill, and then he just fucks your ears with A Painful and Necessary Action immediately after. I love it.

personal taste and all but i never like when the momentum slows to a halt immediately after the opener. always feels like a hard move to justify that early in the tracklist, where after the first two tracks its at least like "ok weve established the vibe now time to hit you w a deviation"

eh, i think bc it happens so early on it allows the rest of the tracklist to do its thing. of course we all have our tastes, but it doesn't bother me at all. i guess because everything after it is so unrelenting until Fed To The Lights.
