More like a throwback to their late 2000's style when comprared to this album. If the song is representative of the new album then I think it's the smartest choice. There's no way they would ever top Under a Godless Veil anyway.
Lisa sounds amazing and the chorus is incredible.

I like the song, but i prefer Heike's by a mile and think they fit this band better. I also absolutely detest dramatic female vocal delivery in metal, thankfully the dramatic chorus is short in this song, but the fact that it's even present makes me feel like a neckbeard while listening to it. it's just so cringey, tropey and LAME. will probably be significantly worse than their last 2 which are close to being 5s

New track is solid, but imho there's something out of balance with the mixing of the vocals, especially in the chorus.
New vocalist is technically flawless, but yeah, previous one fitted the band's style better.

it feels like a song written for heike which is a shame
really liked the outro riff, bit confused as to why they didn't utilize it more. chorus feels a bit.... awkward? feels like she's overdelivering what should be really subtle given the lyrics.

beautiful album, can't wait for the new album.
It might be nostalgia due to hearing Turning Season Within first but I think I'm one of the few who prefer's Lisa's vocals to Heike's. Both are exceptional though.
