Idk why I prefer my rock and rap to be separate, but I do. This is great stuff but doesn’t gel with me stylistically all the time. Awesome lyrics for sure. I’m supposed to have the honor of playing with them in a couple weeks.

That track fucks, but it’s a whole different thing with Rage, almost unable to be replicated. Also it’s not punk/hardcore adjacent stuff, that’s even more finicky for me. Like I guess I feel like hip hop spitting over skramz instrumentals or stuff like breakdowns isn’t exactly my cup of tea. And I love Show Me the Body, so maybe I’m just a hypocrite. But also the blend they’re working with is executed in a more cohesive manner imo. I remember enjoying Ho99o9 too. That’s about all the rock/rap I really fuck with. Death Grips too arguably, with their more punk influenced tracks, but I barely even consider them hip hop tbh
