Incredible album. I want to give it another spin, but it's rather heavy. They really tapped into something special here. It might just be their best

Only heard the 4 or 5 songs they released. If it's any indicator, this album should be really good. Tend the Garden has been my favorite so far.

I'm slightly, but not very, let down after 1 full spin. They're definitely branching out here, and I love this band enough to afford this album all kinds of time to sink in. But my initial impression is that I miss the energy. Still solidly in the 4-range, but we'll see what happens as I play this over the coming week.

i think they turned down the explosiveness but didn't lose the heartfeltness

I could definitely still feel the passion which is good. I need way more time before I can even think about speaking to the quality of the lyrics.

wish goal of the century had more of said explosiveness but gotta say, hand of god is kinda perfect imo.

It ain't all clicking for me yet but damn that spirit boy/brothers combo is the one

Man, as an Australian if Gang of Youth’s is the best Aussie rock we have to offer then I’m embarrassed.
We had so many classic bands in the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s.
These guys are weak.

I never listened to this group before but I've just listened to 'In The Wake of Your Leave' on Youtube and I very much liked it. Lead singer is no dancer, though. lol

Are these guys big or something? I've heard the name before but never listened to them. I like how earnest these songs sound. Very much wear your heart on your sleeve, but clever. Like a modern Coldplay but with a little more attention in the lyricism and instrumentation.
