t/t is my fav here, but nothing seems to top some of the highlights from QoT

I feel like there's a bit more variety here though? Nothing quite sounds like "The Moon" on Queen of Time

Great Album! I don't get the Trilogy thing. A Tomi Joutsen era sure, but they have been on a solid trajectory since he joined so separating these last three just doesn't make sense to me. Anyone who likes this band should check out their entire catalog. They always put out quality material and there are some that are quite different from the current model. That being said, this album is phenomenal and this band has developed a Maidenesque legacy to behold. Cheers to the kings of metal!

Another solid album from Amorphis without too much risk but nicely done, only listened to it 2 times but I liked it, the usual formula that kinda still works :D.

Does this album take some time to click? I mean musically its good and all, but my first real exposure to them was QoT, and that sunk it's claws in me pretty much right away.

Edit: "The Moon" is just fantastic though. Doesn't quite reach "Wrong Direction" levels of being an absolute ear worm, but still a hell of a composition
