Lol, not quite what I was thinking when I said 'intimate' but yes music-related admiration is a weird and wonderful thing sometimes, especially when artists connect with the listener on an emotional level. Sometimes you get carried away I guess.

dude I've seen her live in like 4 counties or some shite, met her a bunch of times , usually hit like 2/3 shows on each tour .she's an absolute darling. Will defo have a restraining order against me within 5 years

What a passionate review. I haven't heard the album yet but I get the impression it will conjure at least one poignant memory from anyone who listens to it. She is such an introspective artist.

Damn, that must be quite the view. I've read she wrote the album somewhere in Wales I think. She has some show/s in the US before the EU tour so if u want those restraing points you better be quick haha

I got Manchester only on this tour but I'll be front row with the clown make up on off that video. Hahha nah I'd hit a few up but they're all halls with pianos and I'm not going another country to be sat at the back.
Yeah it was all recorded in Wales then her and Blake came up to the Highlands to do the vid. Looked like it was Absolutely pissing down but can't expect sun in Scotland in October!

Yeah it's super good. Still need to buy it somewhere, to go in deeper. Something about streaming that makes for a fleeting and relatively superficial experience, but when a CD or a vinyl is spinning, I pay more attention. Weird how that works.
