Really underrated

Give it a few more years and I think people will come around to this (and the better stuff from TCOL) like they did with Lizard and Islands a few years back.

I agree, Frippertronics, though I remember a lot of people liking it at the time and feeling it was a real ‘return to form’. It’s also fantastically produced, especially the drums.

Very good album!!! My only grief being that some Electronica parts that definitely were experimental back then, sound a bit ordinary and dated now. Giving this a nu-metal feel at times. Overall it's great thou!

Probably the best album from this era. Thrak was cool, but it felt a little more like a one off whereas this feels like the statement they were trying to say all along.

I just stumbled upon this. I only know Fripp as the strict music professor on stage. I mean, here he is still the same..but..ahm..wow. This is so absurd.

For me 'The construkction of light' is clearly the best form this third era of KC, due to it's haunting dark atmo and it's intensity. But all 3 are good! This is second for me...

For me, Thrak > this > Construkction

Thrak is actually in my top 5 KC albums in general. Underrated as hell

They are.

I think I'm due for doing an anti-chronological discog run. Lets begin here.
