Might be a weird rec but I found Orogeny by Anachronism to scratch a similar itch to this. Criminally underlooked as well but you have to dig the dissodeath thing.

I've been a fan of that album for a while. It's really damn good. I can kinda see the similarity with the dissonance, frequent breakdowns, high dynamics, and occasional moments of beauty amidst the chaos.
