Yeah forgot how much of a snoozefest this actually is, Hypnosis sounds like a song which should go hard but actually goes nowhere. And it just ends with the limpest cookie cutter djent breakdown I've ever heard.

Distraction is probably the only song I come back to on here, it has some great atmosphere.

Baffles me how this and the debut have a higher rating than Take Me Back To Eden, which is actually half decent

"Take Me Back To Eden is definitely better. This album feels more like a bunch of experimental demo's with no cohesion whatsoever. There's some good tracks on here, but the pacing is pretty poor and the payoff is a little underwhelming."



I had the complete opposite takeaway from this album. To me it feels like their most cohesive effort. Easily my favorite.

Great reviews, I share many of the same sentiments regarding this album. I really dig the first two albums, and this shows many very promising areas of growth, however they both follow the same formula for the most part and one might be weary of the band being a "one trick pony". We eventually got our answer as to wether or not they had other tricks up their sleeve and to my great disappointed I find the new direction the band is going rather distasteful and forced. I selfishly wish they would commit to make an all heavy album, I find that when they go all out metal they sound fresh and exciting, the band members have undeniable talent, I just hope I'm not wondering what could have been with these guys 10, 20 years from now.

I enjoy their music quite a lot .. but the vocalist is "doing too much" with his voice.. way too many annoying embellishments and accents and things .. sounds like a Mariah Carey style singing in that sense. Eg. Singing the word blade becomes Blayyyyy-eeee-ayyyyy-eee-aayyde
