the breezy indie folk stuff on this is a mile above the rest imo, although the neo-soul bangers like Blesser and Heat of Desire are also great

Binged this dude's music one night on YT when his American Idol audition was trending. Guy is amazingly talented. Gonna check this out.

definitely check doom hologram if you dig this

completely different sound, it's basically a mashup of the weeknd, aphex twin and deftones

I haven't liked any of the singles from Alejandro after Doom Hologram (with the exception of "Escape"), but man one listen and I already love this.

This is by far the most intriguing record I've heard this year. Probably a bit too long but damn this is just insanely good

I've been following this genius since American Idol. I am a die hard fan. My enthusiasm for him is with the fact that he is a talented musician, and a genius composer who can compose in any genre. Most of his music leaves my jaw on the floor. This album is no different except my jaw is left on the floor with this one. The composition of every piece is top notch. I would assume he had a Dr's in Music if I didn't know he's only 27 years old and I believe has a degree in Journalism.

On first listen this is pretty much a 5 for me all the way until Felios, and then it starts to drop off around Lonely Boy and Death City Drive. The remainder picks it back up but doesn't quite reach the heights of the first 2/3rds.

feel like it's only a matter of time until he does a song with the weeknd and blows up
