the new one gives me some Collapse vibes here and there. the whining on An Autumn Storm reminds of Aptrgangr, some of the spoken word bits remind of Death of Baldr etc.

Revisiting this one after giving it a 2.5 before discovering how much I love his new album. This one is nearly equal to it after a couple spins, for some reason the production just had to click with me. Some absolutely beautiful stuff here

I can't get enough of this album. I recently discovered this project after their release at the end of 2023 and I can't believe how this flew under the radar for so long. Going to explore the rest of the discography going backwards this week

Yeah this album is absolutely beautiful but as a man who consistently manages to outdo himself I think aside from cornerstone albums regarding changes in direction it's v ez to get locked into just jamming like, 2 Panopticon albums when so many of them RULE

still don't love the muffled prod on this but I do love the little bits of melodeath he started sneaking in since like Roads to the North that are also present here. yes i did just listen to Rope Burn Exit why do you ask
