I feel like the production isn't a problem, since the guitar work is mostly muffled on the chugging parts. Nothing in particular to muffle, I suppose.

The bass is clearly audible, drums punch hard and the vocals are okay, some think they're buried, but it's varied along different platforms, so I don't know how it sounds on vynil or CD. Either way, I feel like the discussion on the production is trivial at best.

Is this going to be the official review for the album? That's sad.. I was expecting a 3.5 review.

I feel like since Gojira are known for having such a signature production style this deviation from it is more noticeable and more of an issue to fans. If any other album had this production no one would complain

I get what you're saying, but if anyhting else was stable except of the production, then it would certainly be odd. But since there's also a stylistic shift, then I guess the change in production isn't such a problem.

New Found is a great song for sure. Production does hold this back quite a bit tho agreed.

They need to bring back that punchy mix The Way of All Flesh had.

The Link rules.

Only hope yall stop trying to make this the next machine head album. Its way better than that and there s growing factors here that are prob being dismissed. These dudes clearly know what they are doing and have a powerful message behind them.

Gojira's always been a band that attracts dilusional crybabies and godawful edgelord pussys. yall can pathetically 1, 2 or 3 them but their monolithic popularity growth withstands any pitiful trolling attempt out of sheer ignorance. no ones gonna remember u anyway

I haven't heard the whole album but one gripe I had with the song Amazonia, at least the video version (don't know if its stretched out on the album or not) is that they have a really cool unique and killer groove at the end of the song, amazing bass/double bass sort of groove, and then it just fades that part out, I thought what the fuck why fade it here?
