fifth, if the band isn't influenced by krautrock they probably suck
sixth is any band formed after 2001 probably sucks
seventh is that gybe are overrated. They ripped off Bardo Pond and Jamahiriya democratique et populaire de sauvage
eighth is that post-rock was a mistake, we have to go back to chuck berry and elvis

he is 100% correct tho. spotify are a bunch of thieving fuckin crooks. my buddies in a cover band clear more money in a single show than unsigned bands do from 500,000 plays on spotify, straight up. and realistically there is no way this entire album collectively surpasses that mark. I respect the choice.

yeah i make fucking zero money on spotify. it's only there for the convenience of my listeners. i'm lucky i don't really care how much i make from my music, but this new record i'm making has costed me a lot of money to produce (talking thousands in all) so i'm having second thoughts about which platforms to host it on.

sucks man, wish creating art was a more reasonable venture to make money on and not a labor of love. big ups for investing in your music like that

Imagine thinking that the purpose for artists putting their music on Spotify is direct revenue.
|
| |
eeeh but you realise it costs money to be on spotify in the first place right?
|
| |
