I must be missing something with FM. It could work as a starting point though, depending on who the listener is.

It's where I started and I was instantly hooked, the first Xiu Xiu song I ever heard was Support Our Troops of all things

Lovin' the Fuzz Gong love
Top tracks for me are still prob One Hundred Years (obv), Sad Mezcal, Grifters, and Bottle of Rum.
And then also the rest of the tracks. Classic Screw twists the driving industrial of the Cure cover in such a cool odd direction

Cure cover and Grouper song are the only songs I could get thru. spoken word not my cup of tea... but those two songs.......... mmmmmm

Fuzz Gong is fire indeed.
One Hundred Years is OP, Wolfe just destroys everyone, every time.
Looking forward to A Bottle of Rum, I'm at I Dream of Someone now.
I absolutely hated the Liars one, Rumpus Room.

No no no, see, the thing about Xiu Xiu is they’re the least ironic band in the world
Jamie means this shit from the bottom of his heart, and it's extra af and beautiful

Only (half) kidding, promise.
This kind of makes me want to go through their discog again, having no Xiu Xiu above a 3.5 feels wrong.
