Honestly I think it's brilliant. I'm 100% sure I'm not in this thread right now if not for the band name, nor most others users itt. This site is like the exact type of demo they were prob gunning for and they got us.

Like what's the best way to make your generic tech death band stand out in the ocean of other generic tech death bands? Make the band name so unignorably obnoxious that people almost have to check you out.

Helps that the band is pretty good too, although I prefer the more brutal first album over this one which is more doomy

True, I’m only here because the site broke. It won’t make me check this, but it certainly meant I was aware of their existence (and might’ve done). Problem is if you don’t follow that up with an almost immediate listen, then back to the abyss they go - no way I’ll remember this and once the page falls to the ‘archives‘ it’s over.
