there's some fairly emotional stuff on EWBAITE and White if you haven't checked those. songs like Foolish Father, Do You Wanna Get High, Jacked Up etc are great in that respect

I do agree this album really brought back that strength after the last two albums were a bit cold and removed

I am quite enjoying this, much more in line with White album than the recent abominations. Really digging the light brevity of it

The best thing about this album is the breezy flow. Nothing really sticks for me though.

@Smash that would be because they are the same artist! Matias Adolffson. Really talented artist, sells books and prints online too, I have a few things from him.

yeah I'm not a big DGD fan either but I couldn't help but notice the similarity

@Feather that's pretty interesting. I didn't even consider the fact that there could be a connection there, was sure it was just a coincidence

To each their own! I really dig DGD, but glad more people are getting the opportunity to appreciate the cover artist here!

Well Fantano just gave this an 8 so my opinion on it must be wrong.

Anybody else familiar with these great Weezer demo albums on youtube? I especially like this album, very melodic and blue, pinkerton like imo.

@fromrows I've found some great stuff from him and, while we do disagree sometimes, I appreciate how articulate he can be. That being said, his hate for the Deftones is just a shit take.

I agree completely, I never understood why he dislikes them so much.
