Man, I love TA, been a big fan since parting



All these bands just keep fucking up big time lately. Defeater started sucking after LG, La Dispute after Wildlife, Pianos after lack long after. Honestly, was surprised at TA's musical longevity given everyone else from their crowd been treading water for a good long while now.

Defeater are the most frustrating one - the story was so well fleshed out after the first 3 releases (EP included) - empty days was even my favourite. Just move on.

Just spinned this, I enjoyed the first listen. It's a shift from previous albums but offers more heterogeneous songs. Deflector and Come Heroine for example could perfectly fit on Stage Four or Is Survived By musically, while there are songs taking a different approach.



The opening three songs are great. Even if a bit more poppy, I enjoyed Reminders and Limelight much more in the context of the album than I did them on the singles, but still didn't like I'll Be your Host, def the weakest song in the album.



Broadcast didn't stand out so much to me on the first listen
