I see too much hype in here. You better listen again the 1st part and then come back again.

I'm joining Tundra in 5 club. Awesome album and I like that there's a distinct different feel for the age of the mammals and it only gets super intense when the ice age hits.

I bet if this wasn't competing with Deftones this would be a much bigger deal on this site. I've never heard this band before, all I know is that Phanerozoic 1 was on all the metal best of lists that year. I hope this is more prog than post metal, this could either be really cool or intensely boring. Gonna do 1+2 in one go

I think this could be better than part:I so far, in fact it might be their best since Precambrian. I haven’t read this thread but I really hope y’all are cool enough to dig Pleistocene, shit rules. Triassic is a great opener as well.

This was pretty sick on second listen. Definitely more creatively ambitious than part 1. Some sweet bass lines. Also has quite a theatrical quality to it.

Playing with plasticine > this bands prog output

I accept your premise but deny your implicit assumption that the value of playing with plasticine is sufficiently low that this band's prog output being lower in value than it renders the prog output less than excellent in musical quality.

Yea, playing with plasticine is awesome, so that statement isn't really saying anything lol

Let me elaborate

Playing with plasticine as a child>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> this bands prog era

Playing with plasticine as an adult>this bands prog era

Hope that helps clear things up
