Is thrash really that bad? Plenty of metalheads jizz over it here but I've seen a lot of others just shame it endlessly. Most of my experience with it is the popular albums and couple smaller artists like Voivod and Power Trip.

Also lol at 1'ing pop. "IT AIN'T BROOTAL ENUFF DOOD"

Yeah this is so good. Might even bump up to a 4.5 if it holds up

I Built the Sky isn't too shabby either. I'm enjoying Up Into the Ether

For me, thrash is one of those genres that has some good stuff, but a lot of the bands that stuck around have become pretty stagnant. Either they didn't want to try anything new, or did (probably hard rock) and did it poorly, and either quit or went back to making pretty much the same album again and again.

There's some good stuff to find in there, but sometimes you gotta wade through the poo poo to get to it. Which you can say about a lot of genres, I guess, so yeah

Rust in Piece and Peace Sells are amazing albums.

I love the riffs in Wake up Dead, one of my all time favourites.

I have trouble with the vox in Megadeth. Sometimes, he is just awful. Can't do it

his voice sounds worse in the remastered old albums. try to find the original cassette rips and they sound much gnarlier and the vox are rougher and less nasally.

the remasters suck compared to the clunky old shit.

Listen to how crunchy these guitars are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE_IhnpjgtM
