This sounded nice. Weird how the production sounds so 'harsh' though, a bit like it was recorded in 128 kpbs. Some records have that and I never know how that even happens haha

The song with Weyes Blood (My God) is horribly produced IMO but still fun. That chorus is so hokey and dumb that I can't help but indulge.

on my first listen My God was one of my favorite tracks, though Dying Breed made the best first impression overall

Honestly none of these songs left a bad impression, some were just more memorable than others. That's what I love about this, it's their most consistent record since Sam's Town which was the same way.

Parts of that album did really remind me of this, which just makes it crazy how much the execution was ramped up

You're pretty much right, but apparently that (and a more consistent atmosphere) is all I need from The Killers in 2020.

Yeah this is really good, but I enjoyed the last two records so it's not the leap forward everyone else thinks it is imo

After one listen, I can hear what an improvement it is over the last two.

This definitely is not my thing, especially compared to their first two albums. I'll give it a few spins though and see if it clicks.
