Pretty meh on this on first spin, only songs I really liked were “Kyoto”, “Graceland Too”, and “I Know the End”. Maybe because those are the ones that deviate most stylistically but those just grabbed my ears so much more than the rest.

Maybe it was Walking on a String being relatively fresh in my mind but when Garden Song dropped I immediately thought it was Matt from The National doing those backing vox

Sowing putting DVD menu right before I Know the End destroys this albums themes of premonition and half the tension on the record

I actually hated that when the single first came out, but now I don't mind it at all.

Anyway, this is easily top 5 of the year so far. I've played it 4 times already today.
