I feel like this record is like "[insert track] is so damn good." I seriously had that thought at multiple points in probably every song.

Absolutely loving this. They sound so reinvigorated. Not that they necessarily lacked vigor, but it's so much more prominent here than it has been more recently.

Vocals on Rivet just put the hugest smile on my face.

This album is like a makeover reveal after someone loses 100lbs.

Loving little snakes at the moment. Vocals and lyrics are so on point.

My first impression is that this is definitely a step up from their last 3 releases. I could see myself going back to listen to some of these tracks from time to time unlike Volition, Scurrilous, and most of Pacific Myth.

Some of the lyrics (or maybe just the delivery) come across as a bit cringey though.

never had much of an issue with the vocals from the lead singles, so this vibed with me on the first listen

I feel like the vocals have taken the forefront for this band, where on past releases there was a little bit more instrumental variation. Still good, but I think it's going to take some time to grow on me.

a lot of people seem to think that and i don't know why. "harbinger" "caravan" "tidal" and "cataract" are some of my favorite pth songs

I just found myself constantly tuning out of Pacific Myth. It's so boring compared to this, Volition, and Kezia. Rody's vocals also took quite a bit of getting used to... and on Pacific Myth they are the most annoying imo. Harbinger is sweet tho.
